2026 Annual Meeting Announcement

Dear CLPA Members,

You're invited to the Canobie Lake Protective Association's 2026 Annual Meeting. This year, we'll hear from guest speakers about lake levels, the severe drought we are in, and the future state of the Southern NH water pipeline, before moving into our business meeting, including officer elections and a vote on proposed bylaw amendments. Details below.

Date: Sunday, August 23, 2026

Doors Open: 4:30 PM

Meeting Begins: 5:00 PM

Location: Searles School and Chapel, 3 Chapel Road, Windham, NH

Schedule

●        4:30 - 5:00 PM: Doors open. Check in and visit with your lake neighbors.

●        5:00 - 6:00 PM: Guest Speakers

Town of Salem Municipal Director and Water Treatment Deputy Director of Utilities

Brandon Kernen, Administrator, NHDES Drinking Water and Groundwater Bureau

●       6:00 PM: Business Meeting begins

●       Approval of 2025 Annual Meeting minutes

●      ELECTION INFORMATION:
The following four board positions are for 2-year terms.  The CLPA board recommended slate:


President - Tanya Donnelly - uncontested
Windham Director – Scott Buttram - uncontested

Salem Director - Daryl Abbas - uncontested
Secretary – Open

●       Vote on Proposed Bylaw Amendments

●       Funding Boat Ramp Improvements/Creation

●       Raffle Prizes Drawing

Per Article VIII of the CLPA Bylaws (Rev 9), candidates must notify the Board in writing at least 15 days before the Annual Meeting to appear on the ballot; nominations from the floor and write-in votes are not permitted.
